Meet Grace!!!

(In honor of my photography and piano studio’s 3rd anniversary, today, February 16th. I am so excited to share with you this session that brings both my love of music and photography together.)

This session is a dream come true for me! As most of you know, I LOVE music, especially playing the piano! I also love photography, so getting to put both these two passions together makes me so happy!

Grace and I took piano lessons from the same music teacher. Just after I started my photography studio, Grace and I were at a music exam and I told her of my dream to photograph a pianist and her piano. I’ve always known so much about pianos and I LOVE them. About two years ago, Grace mentioned wanting pictures for her piano studio’s website and she wanted to help my dream come true. Of course I said YES!!!

Life is like a piano; the white keys represent happiness and the black show sadness. But as you go through life’s journey, remember that the black keys also create music.”

A little over a year later, this last December, my Mom, sister, and I hopped in the car at 7 AM and drove 3 hours to Gig Harbor for her session and one other young lady’s. (Her post is coming soon) When I got to her house, I was awestruck at her beautiful piano that had been in her family for years. I had so much fun photographing Grace from all the different angles at her piano. From artsy shots to the full grandeur of her music space.

Grace is one of those friends that you can just talk to. We don’t see each other very often, but when we do, we can talk for hours. She is such a sweet, honest, humble young lady. She lets her love for the Lord speak for her who she is and her laughter is contagious.
