// Meet Walker & Madeline //
“I love you more then I have ever found a way to say to you.”
Walker & Madeline (Maddie, as I know her) are two of the sweetest, cutest, funniest couple’s I know!
Cute story, I met Maddie at Walker’s sister’s wedding in 2020, where I was photographer and she a bridesmaid. I knew these two were dating, but it was not until last year, 2021, that Maddie and I met and became instant friends. It has been a privilege to get to know her as a kindred spirit.
// How They Met //
Walker & Maddie met in December of 2018. Walker registered for a snowshoeing class for the next quarter. Little did he know a cute, long-haired brunette was also registering for the same class. On the second day of their snowshoeing class, Walker and Maddie finally met and Walker made sure to walk with her. At some point he saw a particularly pretty section of the trail and decided to take a picture. He let Maddie walk a bit down the trail, so she wasn't in the picture. Well, in one of the pictures, Maddie was in the background. They made it back to the beginning of the trail and started getting ready to leave. Walker lingered out of the car he was going back in if there was any chance to talk more with Maddie because he knew this would be the last class they would be in for that quarter. By God's sweet providence, she ended up going back in the same vehicle as Walker. They talked about various topics and an idea came to Walker on how he would get her number. He pulled out his phone to show her the picture that he took earlier on the trail and asked Maddie if she wanted it, and she said, "Yes! You can email it to me!" Not wanting to let the opportunity pass, Walker said, "How about I text it to you?" So smooth! Admittedly, Maddie did not pick up on the fact that it was Walker's tactic for getting her number. She gave him her phone number after she differentiated which number in her head was her phone number and what one was her library card number!

// THE PROPOSAL //
Walker planned to go to a lake that Maddie has always wanted to go to! She would remind him every time they passed it that she wanted to have a picnic there. So they left in the late morning with a picnic that Walker packed and headed to the lake. Once they got close, Maddie knew where they were going and got very excited! They walked onto the frozen lake and had their picnic. After they ate, Walker had Maddie stand up and he told her how much he loved her and how amazing God had been to have brought them through these last three years! He said it was time she stopped being his girlfriend and became his fiancée!

-Love/hate for debate

I love finding our all the sweet details about my couples. Here are a few shared by Walker & Maddie.
What are you most excited about for married life?: We are excited for the companionship that comes with marrying your best friend! It is such a blessing to have someone to live life next to, to embrace every adventure with. We can't wait to start a family that loves the Lord and follows Him!
What's your favorite thing about your partner?: Maddie-- I love that Walker is so passionate about God! He is so serious about his faith, understanding what he believes and why he believes it. He's very smart, kind, and also handsome!! He will be a great leader for our family.
Walker-- Maddie is an adventurer that pulls me along with her (not unwillingly)! She loves me fiercely and is the most gracious and giving woman I know! She is gorgeous beyond all measure and I know she will make an amazing mom and godly wife! A woman worthy of so much more love than I can give her!
Favorite part about wedding planning?: Dreaming about our future has always been a fun pastime, so getting to actually plan something that will happen is a great blessing!
I can’t wait for September you two! Your wedding is going to be epic and a highlight of my 2022 year! You both are truly neat people and I am so excited to capture your incredibly special day!
